Owen McCarthy

Owen McCarthy is the Co-Founder and former President of MedRhythms, where he has led the development of next-generation neurotherapeutics that leverage the power of music and technology to redefine what’s possible in brain health. During his tenure as the President of MedRhythms, Owen has pioneered new approaches to healthcare and emerged as a leader in the digital therapeutics industry. He has led MedRhythms through multiple rounds of financing, including a Series B round that totaled $27 million and was led by top VCs. He is listed as the inventor on multiple patents for the company’s novel digital therapeutics, served as the Chair of the Board of Directors for the Digital Therapeutics Alliance (now American telemedicine association). Owen also served as Chair and Vice-Chair of the University of Maine Board of Visitors, and has served on its Board of Trustees.

His entrepreneurial experience officially began in 2013 when he served on the founding team for the 3D printing company Voxel8, where he led business development after receiving his MBA from Harvard Business School.
