Owen McCarthy is the President and Co-Founder of MedRhythms, where he is leading the development of next-generation neurotherapeutics that leverage the power of music and technology to redefine what’s possible in brain health. As the President of MedRhythms, Owen is pioneering new approaches to healthcare and is emerging as a leader in the digital therapeutics industry. He has led MedRhythms through multiple rounds of financing, including a recent Series B round that totaled $27 million and was led by top VCs. He is listed as the inventor on two patents for the company’s novel digital therapeutics, serves as the Chair of the Board of Directors for the Digital Therapeutics Alliance, and represents the digital therapeutics industry in the World Health Organization’s Roster of Experts in Digital Health. Owen also served as Chair and Vice-Chair of the University of Maine Board of Visitors, and currently serves on its Board of Trustees.
His entrepreneurial experience officially began in 2013 when he served on the founding team for the 3D printing company Voxel8, where he led business development after receiving his MBA from Harvard Business School.
